Tray sealing solutions that help fruit manufacturers maximise pack quality using the minimum amount of plastic will be the major theme of the Proseal stand at this year’s Asia Fruit Logistica show.
The tray sealing specialist will be demonstrating its Proseal GT0s MAX model, which delivers high throughput and has an especially large seal capacity. An enhanced version of the Proseal GT0s tray sealer, the MAX machine incorporates an adjustment that maximises use of space in its chassis, therefore increasing seal capacity. It can produce up to 100 punnets per minute from its very small footprint and offers rapid two-minute tool changes.
In addition, the Proseal GT0s MAX features a rugged and hygienic food industry approved construction with washdown protection. A user-friendly menu driven control panel with step-by-step prompts, error and status displays, and batch pack counter ensures ease of set-up.
The ‘s’ specification model has been specifically designed for customers with more uniform pack requirements, and offers atmospheric, gas flushing and hermetic shrink sealing. For companies potentially needing to switch between a wider variety of pack types to meet changing consumer trends, an ‘E’ version model is also available with additional sealing choices that require a vacuum.
Proseal’s participation at Asia Fruit Logistica reflects both the importance of the Asian market and the company’s increasing success in the region, as demonstrated by its Queen’s Award for International Trade: 2018, which recognised Proseal’s outstanding growth into new international markets such as Southeast Asia.
In order to provide the highest levels of localised support, the company has two well-established distributors. Food and More Co., Ltd covers Thailand and Vietnam, and Integrated Packaging System Pte Ltd is responsible for China, Malaysia and Singapore.
Representatives from both Proseal UK and Proseal Australia will on the stand at Asia Fruit Logistica and will also be joined by its Chilean distributor Smartpack.
