Tray sealing specialist Proseal America is celebrating its 10th anniversary, during which time the company has more than doubled in size, with continued growth planned for 2019 and beyond.

Proseal was co-founded in 1998 by Steve Malone and Robert Hargreaves and is based in Cheshire, UK. Proseal America was established in 2009 by Proseal America CEO, Gari Wyatt, to provide comprehensive localized support and manufacture for the growing fresh convenience food market. Enjoying ten years of continued success, the company has become one of the country’s leading suppliers of high-quality automatic tray sealing solutions for a wide variety of food sectors including protein, ready meals and fresh produce.

Future plans include a move to a new factory by 2020 that will quadruple the current size of the operation, ensuring Proseal America can continue to meet the needs of the American market with its innovative equipment, consistent quality, reliability, and outstanding service.

The 10-year milestone was celebrated with an event hosted at the Proseal ‘Pro2’ Manufacturing Facility in Richmond, Virginia. Proseal America employees and customers gathered together and enjoyed an evening of live music, games, food and drink.

As guests entered the factory, they were greeted by a walkway of pictures that depicted the growth of the company from 2009 to 2019.

“The anniversary party was a very humbling experience,” comments Gari Wyatt. “It is rare that I get a chance to step back and reflect on the successes we’ve enjoyed over the past 10 years. It was with immense pride that I could see the company’s achievements and the highly acclaimed people that we’ve attracted and retained over the past decade. It also gave me a much-needed fuel injection to see what’s possible for Proseal to achieve in the next decade – let’s bring it on!”
