Tray sealing technology’s ability to deliver the speed and flexibility required for efficient and high-quality soft fruit packing will be demonstrated on the Proseal stand at this year’s Fruit Focus exhibition.

Proseal is the market leader in the supply of tray sealing machines to the soft fruit sector globally, and in 2021 launched a new, perfect complement to its tray sealing offering in the CP3™, a fully automatic case packing system, designed to offer customers a complete primary and transit case packing solution.

The user-friendly and flexible case packing system combines efficient power consumption and a compact footprint with the ability to fill cases at up to 120 packs per minute.

A further design consideration of Proseal’s CP range is that the case packing machines utilise a maximum spares commonality with its tray sealing range, offering convenience and efficiency in spares holdings to existing Proseal customers.

At Fruit Focus the Proseal team will present the CP3 and demonstrate the GT4s, a compact tray sealing model that maximises use of pack room space while still delivering fast speeds of up to 210 atmospheric packs per minute with an eight-impression tool.

With many growers and retailers now seeking alternative materials to plastic for their trays, Proseal tray sealing machines are capable of handling all new material types. Proseal’s Test Kitchen offers access to a wide variety of testing machinery, allowing companies to carry out shelf-life trials and seal integrity testing in order to facilitate smooth product launches without the need to invest in their own materials and equipment.

In addition, as the company develops new features to meet new market requirements, these can also be retrofitted to models already in operation, even dating back to 2008.
