In April, JBT Proseal, the world leading manufacturer of tray sealing machines, is proud to announce its participation in the highly anticipated Farm Shop and Deli Show, part of the UK Food and Drink Expo at the NEC in Birmingham. Proseal will be exhibiting at Stand E169, where attendees can witness firsthand the revolutionary capabilities of the latest addition to their equipment, the XTRs Machine.

The successor to the GTR, the XTRs is capable of sealing 30 packs per minute with a 2-impression tool, without the need for compressed air. The all-electric sealing creates a more consistent and efficient seal force with reduced energy usage and total running costs.

The user-friendly design includes integrated HMI with multi-language settings, recipe driven control and automatic tool lock. Quick release tooling enables the user to switch from one tray size to another in less than 5 minutes. The machine is fully portable with an automatic film-feed and is available with the option to run Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) to enable extended shelf life. The XTRs also has the ability to run printed film in addition to integration of 3rd party printers to allow direct printing onto the film for lot codes or BBE data.
