Tray sealing and packaging line specialist Proseal will be showcasing a range of its solutions tailored for fresh produce on stand A-04, Hall 3.1 at Fruit Logistica 2022.

Proseal will exhibit its automatic in-line GT4s tray sealing machine and the recently launched CP3™ fully automatic case packing system, together with a linking conveyor, to demonstrate the versatility of its machine portfolio and how its equipment can be easily integrated as part of a fully automatic production line.

In addition, Proseal will demonstrate its advanced Ewon system that enables operators to view from any remote location a tray sealing machine’s live operating speeds, along with comprehensive information on other line performance factors. Using Proseal’s ProVision™ system, companies can then analyse the data, particularly relating to small, unplanned stoppages anywhere on the line, and use this to identify any piece of equipment that is restricting or slowing production. ProVision™ provides a high level of visibility with hour by hour and individual batch performance figures.

The Proseal GT4s combines a compact design with high-speed production, sealing trays at speeds of up to 140 atmospheric packs per minute with a seven-impression tool. The machine has the capability to handle different materials such as board and pulp with no modifications necessary, enabling packers to switch more easily to new pack formats without an additional and costly investment. A rapid tool change minimises downtime to further enhance the machine’s flexibility, complemented by its ability to perform Atmospheric, Gas Flush and Hermetic Shrink seals.

Importantly, Proseal’s unique Eseal® technology ensures the excellent seal reliability that meets the stringent quality requirements of the food retail sector. This, combined with the company’s advanced gas flushing techniques, ensure that products reach the consumer in the freshest condition possible, maintaining quality and minimising food waste.  

The Proseal CP3™ case packaging machine combines efficient power consumption and a compact footprint with the ability to fill cases at up to 120 packs per minute.

The CP3™ can handle a wide variety of pack formats, including trays and pots, in materials such as A-PET, C-PET and board. Auto tool technology enables fast and easy format changes, while Quick Release (QR) conveyors allow swift removal and replacement to speed up and simplify cleaning and maintenance.

Alongside its tray sealing machines and case packer, Proseal also offers a range of conveyors to provide reliable infeed and outfeed of product, and which can be tailored to precise customer requirements as part of a turnkey installation.
